The very first photo of “Jihadi John” as an adult has been revealed.
A picture attached to student records from his time spent at the University of Westminster in the UK shows the 27-year-old ISIS thug sporting a Pittsburgh Pirates as he hauntingly stares into the camera, Sky News reports.
The image comes after the Islamic State cutthroat was identified as Mohammed Emwazi — a pampered, college grad who adored fancy clothes and grew up in middle-class London.
Taken in the UK between 2006 and 2009, the picture sparked people to make assertions on social media that the man behind the mask was apparently a Pirates fan.
I'm sure the Pirates are thrilled after the first picture of #JihadiJohn was release. #RaiseTheJihadiRogerpic.twitter.com/E4cEntAjBQ

Jihadi John is a Pirates fan. Go figure. I would have pegged him as more of a Tigers guy….

Unsurprisingly, the Pennsylvania baseball club did not take kindly to being associated with a savage terrorist who was seen in numerous ISIS execution videos, releasing a statement Friday that read:
“The classic gold P stands for Pittsburgh and is worn by our players, coaches and fans with a great sense of pride. It is absolutely sickening to everyone within the Pirates organization, and to our great fans, to see this murderer wearing a Pirates cap in this old photo.”
The only other photo to be released of Emwazi shows him as a smiling eight-year-old sitting among classmates at St. Magdalene’s Church of England School in west London, according to Sky News.
He was the only Muslim in the class at the time and would often demonstrate his Arabic writing to his fellow students, an unnamed classmate said.
