Iranian fishermen have found pieces of the US drone shot down by the Islamic Republic, according to Iran’s ambassador to the UK.

Hamid Baeidinejad posted his message on Twitter, where he also included a photograph of what appeared to be a piece of metal marked with the US military insignia.

Tehran has said the Revolutionary Guard Corps shot down the RQ-4A Global Hawk over its territory, but the US has insisted that the drone was in international airspace when it was shot down.
