Two Jetstar flight passengers in Australia wrapped themselves in plastic sheets amid fears of the coronavirus, viral footage shows.

The unidentified germaphobes were wearing face masks along with their plastic outfits, which contained holes for their arms and faces.

“Currently behind me on the plane. When you super scared of #coronavirus #COVID2019,” tweeted another passenger, Alyssa, along with a video of the couple on the Hamilton Island-bound flight.

Australia has reported 15 cases of the coronavirus since the epidemic broke out in December in Wuhan, China.

The outbreak of the virus, officially known as COVID-19, has infected more than 75,000 people around the world and killed more than 2,000.
