A Florida father says he drummed up “Superman strength” to leap  over a 4-foot-high fence in a single bound when his toddler son fell in a pool on the other side.

Nest security camera footage posted online captured Albert Passavanti’s impressive rescue.

Passavanti and his family were out lounging by their in-ground pool in West Palm Beach on Sunday when Passavanti’s son, Rocco, walked along the pool’s edge through an open gate around it to get an inflatable ball.

The dad can be heard in the footage telling his 1½-year-old son to “watch, watch” as the boy struggles to get the ball out of the pool.

Suddenly, Rocco tumbles into the pool and Passavanti runs and dives headfirst over the gate to save his son from drowning, the footage shows.

“It didn’t even cross my mind to go around [the gate]. It was point A to point B,” Passavanti told WPTV in an interview.

“The second you see it, you get Superman strength and just have to go for it,” the dad said, adding, “Whatever you got to do.”

Passavanti posted footage of the save to Facebook, warning in a caption: “Baby gates only work when you close them.”
