A 14-year-old Florida girl reportedly swiped thousands of dollars from her grandmother to dole out to her middle school pals, authorities charge.

The girl allegedly broke into her grandmother’s safe — snatching about $13,500 — using a screwdriver and metal pick, according to an arrest report obtained by NBC News.

On Thursday, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports at Lake Weir Middle School that the teen was giving out hundreds to each classmate, the arrest report stated.

School officials found about $2,500 in the girl’s backpack, deputies said.

The teen claimed an ex-student gave her the dough and wanted it passed around; investigators later determined that story didn’t add up.

The girl’s granny lost half of the savings she got after selling her home, according to Fox 35, as an effort is underway to recover the money.

“She advised she took a stack of 20 dollar bills the size of about 6 inches out of the safe,” the arrest report stated about the teen, according to NBC News.

Lake Weir Middle School’s principal called parents to request they ask their kids if they got any of the stolen cash.

“We would like to recover this money for the grandparents. If you speak with your children and if they have received money from the student, please turn it in to our school resource officers,” Principal Jason Jacobs said, according to Fox News Digital.

The young teen is facing a grand theft charge. Students who return the money won’t face punishment, Jacobs noted.

So far about $700 has been returned by other students, officials said Friday.

A motive behind the alleged theft was unclear.
