A Florida teen charged with gunning down another man who he thought had placed a “voodoo curse” on him warned the victim with the disturbing text, “Yuh dead today,” according to a new report.

Najay Marcellos Jackson, 19, was busted on a premeditated murder charge in the Wednesday morning shooting in Miramar, according to an arrest report obtained by NBC 6 South Florida.

A witness told police they heard several gunshots and saw a man walking toward a bicycle as he tucked an item into his waistband and rode away, the report said.

Officers found the victim, who was shot in the head and pronounced dead on scene. His identity has not been released.

Friends were able to identify Jackson using surveillance images from the scene, according to the report.

Investigators determined that earlier that day, Jackson texted his victim with the eerie message, “Yuh dead today,” the station reported.

Shortly before the shooting, Jackson allegedly texted again, this time saying, “Sliding to u,” then “Slide to the gate.”

“Ight,” the victim wrote, according to the report obtained by NBC 6.

Jackson believed the victim had cursed him, using voodoo, Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues told the outlet.

Jackson is being held without bond following the arrest, according to records obtained by the station.
