A former lawyer for the Obama White House will go on trial this summer for allegedly lying about his lobbying work for Ukraine.

A federal judge in Washington, DC, set Greg Craig’s trial for Aug. 12.

The charges against Craig reportedly stem from Ukraine hiring him and his former law firm in 2012 for work related to then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych’s jailing of a political opponent.

The case against Craig grew out of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

Craig has entered a not guilty plea to the charges.
