At least four Americans have been confirmed dead in the Sri Lanka terror attacks, it was revealed Monday.

The US Embassy in Colombo, the nation’s capital, revealed the latest tally as the death toll reached 290, CBS News reported.

Sri Lanka’s foreign ministry had previously revealed that two of the American victims were dual citizens with the UK.

Denver businessman Dieter Kowalski, 40, became the first American named after his family confirmed his death Monday.

He had checked into the Cinnamon Grand Colombo around 3:45 a.m. Sunday — just hours before it became one of three hotels struck by suicide bombers in the attacks that also injured at least 500 people.
