Four people – including two children – were found dead Tuesday inside a Sacramento home that may have been booby trapped.
The victims inside the Copper Sunset Way home in Rancho Cordova were found with gunshot wounds, KCRA reported.
Authorities received two calls — including from one man who claimed to be the shooter. KCRAThe Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office received two calls about the frightening incident – one from a person who heard gunshots at the residence and another from a man who claimed to be the shooter – and told cops he had placed booby traps.
The bodies of a man, woman, boy and a girl were later found. They have yet to be identified.
Sheriff’s deputies found no evidence of traps inside the home.
