A 17-year-old Michigan high school student has died from wounds suffered in a mass shooting at the school Tuesday, bringing the death toll to four, the sheriff’s office announced.

Justin Shilling, a student at Oxford High School, died Wednesday morning, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

“We are saddened to announce a fourth victim has died as a result of their injuries,” the post said.

Three other students — Madisyn Baldwin, 17, Tate Myre, 16, and Hana St. Juliana, 14 — were also killed when a 15-year-old sophomore opened fire at the school.

Seven others, including a teacher, were wounded and taken to area hospitals. At least one is listed in critical condition, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said.

Authorities have not identified the accused gunman or determined a motive. Sheriff’s officials did not immediately return a request for comment.

“It’s chilling,” Bouchard told CNN’s “New Day.” “It’s just absolutely cold-hearted murders.”
