And you thought American politics were wild.

A mischievous fox slipped into a British Parliament building Thursday, scampered up a staircase — and relieved itself next to a Labor Party politician’s office, according to the pol and reports.

Parliament member Kerry McCarthy tweeted a photo of the animal’s droppings outside her door at the Portcullis House in London, along with the hashtag “#Foxontherun.”

“There was a fox running around in Portcullis House atrium about half an hour ago, and now I’ve just found this outside my office (2 floors up!),” she wrote on Thursday night.

“Here’s the foxy fugitive,” she added later, along with a photo of the critter slinking down a hall.

Police removed the animal in a wooden box and freed it nearby, according to the Guardian. It wasn’t immediately clear how the fox got into the law house.
