A beloved bookkeeper and celebrated spin instructor who was killed alongside her physician husband in a double homicide was laid to rest in her hometown of Simi Valley on Friday.

The funeral for Vicki Anne Cordes, 66, came less than two weeks after she and her husband, Dr. Eric Cordes, were gunned down inside the garage of their $1.3 million home by Keith Cordes, Eric’s son.

Family and friends — many of them dressed in black — filled Cornerstone Church, where the couple worshiped, for an 11 AM service.

“Vicki brought joy and laughter to all who knew her, with a spirit that was as vibrant and colorful as her love for fashion,” an obituary read.

The Los Angeles native was remembered as a devoted daughter and a nurturing mother to her two children. She is survived by her daughter, who recently made her a grandmother.

Cordes shared an adorable dog named Lily with her late husband, Eric, 63, a radiologist. The couple had been together for 18 years and married for four, sharing countless cherished moments together.

Cordes worked as a bookkeeper at a dental office in Reseda and had a passion for fitness that led her to teach spin and aerobic classes at Gold’s Gym.

“Vicki’s dedication to health and wellness inspired many, as she loved teaching others how to lead active lives,” the obituary said.

Mourners hung their heads as they carried Cordes out of the church in a wooden coffin.

“Vicki was known for her infectious smile and fun-loving personality. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, and her huge heart was always open to those in need. Her love for fashion and incessant accessorizing with high heals and bling was a reflection of her vibrant spirit-a true testament to her belief in living life to the fullest,” the obituary read.

The couple were the target of a premeditated attack executed by Keith Cordes, 37, who waited in wait to take out his father and stepmother on Nov. 30.

Keith’s remains were found inside a black Honda Civic that was set on fire hours after the coldhearted killings.

Arrangements for a service honoring Eric Cordes have not been publicly announced.
