California Gov. Gavin Newsom had sharp words for President Trump after the commander-in-chief’s Davos address, calling the speech “remarkably boring.”

Trump assured leaders at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland that he would not use force to seize Greenland, something Newsom dismissed as an empty threat, anyway.

 “It was remarkably insignificant,” he said. “He was never going to invade Greenland. It was never real.”

The Democratic governor — who on Tuesday called on world leaders not to kowtow to Trump — claimed that a surprising number of them told him, “Glad you made those comments.”

He said it was the exact opposite of what one might expect.

“They needed to hear those comments,” he said, referring to his earlier urging of European leaders to stand up to the president amid his threats to the Danish island of Greenland.

“It’s time to buck up, it’s time to get serious and stop being complicit,” Newsom said.

The Wednesday comment marked the latest in the ongoing Trump-Newsom saga, as the top Democrat weighs a 2028 presidential run.

When a reporter asked if it stood out to him that Trump repeatedly said “Iceland” when he was talking about Greenland, Newsom replied: “And that every time a windmill turns it costs $1,000. A lot of stuff stands out.

“None of this is normal,” he said. “There’s a deviancy of consciousness. He’s graded off the curve.”

Moments later, Newsom separately posted on his X account, describing what he called “Donald Trump’s America.”

“Weakest job growth outside a recession since 2003, Rising unemployment, Manufacturing jobs shrinking,” he wrote.

The president on Tuesday held a press conference marking the one-year anniversary of the start of his second term, where he boasted about adding more jobs, a stronger economy, and a secure border.
