California Gov. Gavin Newsom bizarrely blamed President Trump for the fatal shooting of an armed anti-ICE protestor in Minneapolis on Saturday.
Newsom claimed Trump was trying to set the stage to implement the Insurrection Act.

“So today, Trump made a shooting happen,” Newsom wrote.
“The President must end his violent occupation of Minnesota. NOW.”
Customs and Border Patrol agents were attempting to arrest an accused criminal migrant in a “targeted operation” shortly after 9 a.m. local time Saturday morning, when, they claimed an armed Alex Jeffrey Pretti tried to intervene.

The victim, Alex Jeffrey Pretti, 37, died at the scene of the Saturday morning shooting, the third involving federal agents in Minneapolis this month. facebook/annakanimals/Pretti, 37, whom local authorities said was a lawful gun owner, was shot after a struggle with the agents and died at the scene.
It was the second fatal shooting of a protester in Minnesota after an encounter with ICE this month, after the Jan. 7 death of Renee Nichole Good.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed federal authorities after the shooting, and called on senators to cut off ICE’s funding.
“We have a responsibility to protect Americans from tyranny,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X.
“DHS just shot a man in broad daylight two weeks after they shot a mother in the face without consequence.”
“They need our votes to continue. We cannot give it to them. Every Senator should vote NO,” AOC blasted.
