MANCHESTER, N.H. — Good Samaritans helped rescue a woman and her two grandchildren from a burning car in New Hampshire.
Bonita Noviello says she was driving on Interstate 93 in Manchester on Saturday when she ran over a mattress and it became stuck under her car.
Noviello says flames started coming out from under her vehicle, and people rushed to help as soon as she pulled over.
One woman grabbed Noviello’s 3-month-old granddaughter, and she pulled her 2-year-old granddaughter away from the vehicle.
Firefighters arrived and doused the flames, which destroyed the car.
Noviello says the people who stopped to help are her “angels.”
