Authorities in Washington state used to try and stop people from smoking pot, now they’re helping them light two-pound joints.

A very friendly police officer helped a jubilant crowd light the novelty-sized marijuana cigarette at Northwest Harvest Fest in Bow, Washington. The gathering, held this past weekend, seeks to celebrate music and cannabis culture.

Washington residents voted to legalize marijuana in November 2012.

Video of the crowd was posted on Marijuana.com Wednesday. The site is affiliated with WeedMaps, a leading medical marijuana dispensary locator site.

This isn’t the first time Washington officials have been helpful to stoners. In August they passed out bags of Doritos at Hempfest in Seattle.
