GRAMBLING, La. — Two people were hospitalized after a shooting at a Louisiana college.

Citing a Grambling State University statement, KTBS-TV reports authorities responded to an on-campus shooting early Friday at the Frederick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

It says one police officer and a person who isn’t a student were hospitalized, and witnesses told authorities that a suspect fled after a gun was fired. It says state police are investigating.
