MILFORD, Conn. — The father of a boy killed in the Sandy Hook massacre has been offered a 30-day sentence to resolve criminal charges he has faced since 2011.

Neil Heslin has until July 9 to accept the plea deal, The News-Times of Danbury reports.

The case involves motor-vehicle and bad-check charges.
