An employee of the gay dating app Grindr reportedly claims he was drugged and raped by the company’s human resources supervisor.
The victim said in a lawsuit that HR manager Daniel Cabanero drugged him during a 2016 company Christmas party before placing him in a car and taking him to a hotel room, according to TMZ.
The unnamed victim then said he regained consciousness in a bed while Cabanero was holding him down and raping him, the website said.
He claims he went to the hospital where he received a “humiliating rape examination.”
The victim also said he was subjected to sexual misconduct and explicit language in the workplace.
Grindr did not immediately return request for comment.
