An Egyptian man got shafted the day before his wedding, when a guest at his stag party accidentally shot him in the genitals, Stepfeed reported, citing local outlet Nmisr.

The guest was firing off in celebration and ended up mangling the groom, hitting Osman Al-A, 28, in the penis, thigh and hand. He fled the scene and was later arrested.

It remained unclear whether the wedding had to be called off.

Celebratory gunfire is a tradition at weddings in Arab and Middle Eastern countries, despite it being illegal.
