WASHINGTON — Sen. Lindsey Graham yesterday broke with fellow Republicans, vowing to filibuster a gun-control bill that expands background checks — as long as he gets to offer alternative legislation.
“The current system is broken . . . I think that legislation is going nowhere, but I’d like to have a robust debate about improving the system,” the senator from South Carolina said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
