A gunman shot two women, another man and then himself in an attack on the grounds of a Wisconsin senior apartment complex this week, according to authorities and a local report.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to a 911 call of a shooting incident at the Spring Glen senior apartments on Horicon Street in the city of Mayville, authorities said.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice has since identified the victims as a 72-year-old man, who was the shooter, two women, ages 64 and 53 and a 67-year-old man, WITI reported.

The alleged shooter approached the three others in a parking lot, and an argument ensued, according to the Department of Justice.

He then allegedly sprayed bullets on the trio before firing at himself.  No motive for the killings has been revealed.

Life-saving measures were performed and all four — who knew each other — were transported by air to local trauma centers.

They are all expected to survive.

“In front of that assisted living home was the worst nightmare I saw in my life,” witness Kristy Dorsey told WITI. “I saw all of the body tape. I saw everyone. It was like a movie.”

Mayville, located about 50 miles northwest of Milwaukee, is home to about 5,000 people.
