Cops often catch drivers getting baked — but this one was caught baking!
Sweltering summer weather Monday caused a mound of discarded dough to rise up from a dump truck and spill out all over a Washington highway — much to the delight of the state trooper who responded to the crumby situation.
“Whole-y grain Batman! It’s messy but it’s not a hazard! I’m on a roll,” tweeted Trooper Brooke Bova.
The truck driver had to brake for bread after it started spilling out the back of the track and onto the I-5 around 4 p.m., according to news network WREG.
Even after the truck stopped, footage shows it continued to bake, plopping out rolls onto the road while Bova waited for a cleaning crew.
But the mess was cleaned up before it could turn to toast, and no one was injured in the disaster, she said.
