Driving drunk is bad — then there’s being “one of the worst” drunk drivers ever.
Police in Illinois announced Wednesday they charged 41-year-old Tasha Schleicher in “one of the worst impaired driving arrests our agency has ever made.”
Schleicher, who has a long rap sheet of drunk driving convictions, reportedly was found passed out behind the wheel with her ignition running at a Riverside gas station, the Star Tribune reported.
Responding officers said she appeared highly intoxicated and had an open bottle of Crown Royal liquor in the passenger seat.
The woman — who reportedly had bloodshot eyes — told officers she had 11 kids and was unable to find them. Investigators later learned she lost custody of her five children following a DWI arrest in October.
She also claimed that she was bleeding and experiencing a miscarriage. Police brought her to the hospital where she took a pregnancy test, which returned negative.
Police arrested her on charges of felony aggravated drunken driving, misdemeanor drunken driving, no vehicle insurance, driving while license revoked for drunken driving, and transportation of open alcohol while driving.
The mom has six prior DUIs in six states with three outstanding warrants, according to court records.
