A hero tour guide says he helped neutralize the suspected London Bridge terrorist — by kicking him in the head, according to a report.
The British tour guide, who identified himself as Stevie, said he was giving a tour of the capital when he saw a group trying to tackle the alleged attacker near the London Bridge, the Telegraph reported.
“I was driving, I stopped the car and ran towards it,” Stevie told the outlet. “I don’t know why I ran over.”
He said he then jumped into the fray, striking the madman with his foot.
“I jumped in and kicked him in the head to make him release his knife,” he said. “He was shouting ‘get off me, get off me.’”
Stevie said the man then rolled over to reveal that he was wearing what appeared to be a suicide vest — which police later said was phony.
“The knife flew away. The moment they rolled him over off his chest, they saw he had a bomb vest,” he said.
Officers arrived and shot the alleged attacker, resulting in his death at the scene, police said.
“They put three rounds into him,” the tour guide said. “He was still lying there for about five minutes sorting himself out, trying to cover himself with his jacket.”
The suspect, who hasn’t been identified, reportedly injured 10 people — killing two — before he was shot dead by police.
