WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton has closed the gap with Bernie Sanders in early-voting New Hampshire after her well-reviewed performance in the first Democratic debate, according to a poll released Friday.
A Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll gave Clinton 37 percent to Sen. Sanders’ 35 percent.
Vice President Joe Biden, who is still deciding whether to jump into the race, won 11 percent.
A Wall Street Journal poll last month had Sanders leading Clinton 42 to 28 percent, with Biden third at 18 percent.
In the new poll, 50 percent of voters said they didn’t think Biden should enter the race.
