Don’t be alarmed if you see low-flying planes in downtown Manhattan this holiday weekend, as six historic aircraft will be circling over the Statue of Liberty, according to police.
The commemorative honor flight will circle the landmark two times, and will depart from the Republic Airport in Farmingdale, police say.
According to cops, tourists and New Yorkers can expect to see the aircraft at 1 p.m. Sunday, weather permitting.
