A YouTuber captured the horrifying moment a semi-truck zoomed past him on a Colorado interstate and sparked a 28-vehicle crash that killed multiple people.
The smash-up happened just before 5 p.m. Thursday under the Denver West Parkway bridge, in the eastbound lanes of I-70 — when the semi rammed into slower-moving traffic, local station 9 News reported. Josh McCutchen, who uses the name Burger Planet on YouTube, was livestreaming a casual drive when the white truck suddenly flew past him in an outer lane.
“Oh my God!” he screamed on the video. “Jesus Christ, we almost f—–g died!”
“Somebody pull that son of a b—h over!”

Then he noticed a plume of smoke behind him, clearly visible as the video rolls. Flames started shooting up from the crash site as he continued driving, and eventually pulled off the interstate.
“I’ve never seen that many cars and that much destruction and fire,” McCutchen told “Good Morning America.” “It was just complete chaos.”
The semi driver, Rogel Lazaro Aguilera, 23, was arrested on multiple homicide charges, the Lakewood Police Department said Friday morning, according to local station FOX 31.
Police told the outlet that the charges are a result of interviews and evidence obtained overnight.
There is no indication the crash was intentional, and it also did not appear that drugs or alcohol played a role, authorities said.
The exact number of deaths has yet to be confirmed, but six people were hospitalized, police said. There were no updates on their conditions Friday morning.
Aguilera was hurt in the crash, but his injuries were not serious, according to the report.
West Metro Fire Rescue tweeted that one firefighter was also hurt at the scene.
“He was hit by debris when potentially a tire exploded,” the tweet said. “He has minor injuries.”
Countryman told 9 News that the crash may be the worst ever to happen in the area.
