Elizabeth Warren had considered entering the 2016 presidential race back in early 2015 but demurred when her husband told her it might be too difficult.
“A race like this one looks pretty terrible,” her husband, Bruce Mann, told her about the presidential contest, as revealed in her new book, “This Fight is our Fight.”
“The Senate thing was bad enough,” she wrote, “and running for president would be worse — a lot worse.”
Warren is releasing the book amid speculation that she could enter the Democratic primaries to take on President Trump in the 2020 election.
