Tuesday night’s knock-down, drag-out primary debate was the Democratic candidates’ last, best chance to make an impression on voters ahead of Saturday’s South Carolina primary, and the Super Tuesday slate on March 3, when 1,338 delegates across 14 other states will be in play and the party’s nomination could be locked in — particularly if Bernie Sanders continues his surge.
Here’s where the seven candidates who took the Palmetto State debate stage currently stand. Recent polls were not available for three Super Tuesday states: Alabama, Colorado and Tennessee.
