WASHINGTON — Huma Abedin, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s closest aide, will give testimony behind closed doors Friday at the House Benghazi Committee — just six days before Clinton herself.

Team Clinton said the timing was further proof that the committee is out to get Clinton, not to find out how American diplomats died in Benghazi.

“Bringing Huma in, when there remain intel/DOD officials who havent been interviewed, confirms that,” tweeted Brian Fallon, Clinton’s spokesman.

Abedin is the latest Clinton ally to speak to the committee. Top staffers Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan and confidant Sid Blumenthal previously provided hours of private testimony.
