Hunter Biden’s wife’s calm, detached body language in court with her embattled husband echoes Melania Trump’s “I’m cooler than this” attitude, one expert said.
Melissa Cohen Biden has appeared blasé, hiding behind stylish sunglasses every day as she accompanied Hunter to court in Delaware for his firearm trial, which kicked off this week.

“He’s showing more anxiety than she is but she has that cool girl, ‘I’m cooler than this’ attitude,” she added of the first son and his second wife, whom he married just six days after they met in 2019.
Wood pointed in particular to photographs of the couple outside the Wilmington courthouse, in which Melissa has her chin up and a pair of dark sunglasses shielding her eyes.
“She’s taking on a cool façade of protection,” Wood explained. “She’s got her hair pulled back and sunglasses on. It all gives the appearance of a cover.

The former first lady was notably spotted looking stony-faced outside Trump Tower on Tuesday — just a few days after her husband was convicted on all counts in his Manhattan “hush money” trial.

But Wood said on the other hand, Hunter Biden is betraying more overt concern over his legal battle — and appears to be leaning on Melissa to get him through.
“Her facial expression and even the way she’s holding his hand up. She’s pulling him upward and the arms are lifted up,” she said of one photo of the couple.

Melissa’s facade did come slightly undone on Tuesday, when she lashed out and called one-time Donald Trump adviser Garrett Ziegler a “Nazi piece of s–t” during a break in the proceedings.
Melanie Trump looked downcast outside Trump Tower on Tuesday. Probe-Media for NY PostHunter Biden sued Ziegler and several others in California last year, alleging that they violated the state’s computer fraud and data laws by accessing his personal emails, photos and other data.
The first son is staring down three firearm-related charges for allegedly owning a gun while he was an active drug user in 2018.
If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison.
