The husband of a depressed West Virginia woman, who killed their five kids and herself, said the aftermath of the tragedy was “a truly dark time.”
Brian Bumgarner — whose wife, Oreanna Antoinette Myers left a note saying she wasn’t strong enough to defeat her “demons” — urged his social media followers to “never leave someone in an argument.”
Myers, who had argued with Bumgarner about his decision to live with relatives during the work week to alleviate transportation issues, set the family home on fire before committing suicide last month, authorities said. The children ranged in age from one to 7.
Bumgarner also recently urged his followers to “take a lot of pictures with the ones you love. you never know when it’ll be the last time you see them,” according to a report in The Sun.
