An Ohio mom accused of attempted murder made a disturbing 911 call Tuesday night telling dispatchers she slashed her daughter’s throats.

“I cut my children’s throats, and then cut my wrists. Please help my children,” Nicole Auman said in the 911 call, according to news station WEWS.

Police responded to the home in Canton, Ohio, around 9 p.m. to find the 31-year-old mom with cuts on her wrists.

Her daughters, ages 7 and 10, suffered severe cuts on their necks, according to police. They are recovering at Akron Children’s Hospital, where they are in stable condition, news station WJW reported.

Auman was arrested for attempted aggravated murder and booked at Stark County Jail.

She is scheduled to appear in court next week.
