A woman in Illinois stabbed her boyfriend in the genitals when he attempted to break up with her, a report said Wednesday.

The 30-year-old woman went ballistic on June 24 when her 43-year-old boyfriend became upset because she was out all day and decided to end the relationship, according to the Herald & Review.

Decatur police said the woman refused to accept the breakup and grabbed the man’s genitals. She then began to “pull and tug at these body parts to the point that it was painful.”

“He then felt a very sharp pain in his scrotum area,” Decatur police said.

“He advised he looked down and observed a large laceration on his scrotum area.”

The stabbing caused a wound “five to six inches in length,” cops said.

The woman was booked on charges of aggravated domestic battery. She remains in jail in lieu $50,000 bail.
