A Toledo, Ohio, street swallowed up 60-year-old Pamela Knox and her car yesterday, but she was able to climb out of the 10-foot-deep sinkhole with the help of firefighters.

Knox saw the car ahead of her drive on after nearly plummeting. But she couldn’t stop in time, cops told the Toledo Blade newspaper.
