Indianapolis firefighters battled a massive fire at an auto yard that destroyed approximately 40 cars.
Firefighters responded to the inferno at 1:45 a.m. to find more than three dozen cars ablaze at Insurance Auto Auctions, 3202 South Harding St.
The Indianapolis Fire Department had the fire under control at 3:26 a.m. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fires remains under investigation.
