A mommy Influencer whose toddler son drowned in her family’s pool said Thursday she deeply regrets not installing a fence to prevent the heartbreaking tragedy.
Emilie Kiser, 26 — whose little boy Trigg, 3, drowned while her husband was reportedly distracted by betting on an NBA game in Arizona in May — spoke out for the first time since the nightmarish accident.
“I know I should have done more to protect him,” Kiser wrote on Instagram.

“I know I should have done more to protect him,” Kiser wrote on Instagram. Instagram / @emiliekiser“One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it’s something I will never overlook again.”
Kiser, who is also the mother of 5-month-old Theodore, said she misses her late son “every second of every day” and that “continuing forward often feels unbearable.”
“It’s a pain, heartache, and void that no family should ever have to endure,” she wrote.Kiser’s husband, Brady Kiser, will not face any charges in his son’s death, officials said in July.
