Disturbing footage shows the moment a car bomb that killed dozens of people exploded outside a soccer stadium in Turkey.
The short video, posted by Instagram user siyahsozluk Saturday night, shows two men singing a song on a park bench in Istanbul when a red ball of fire is seen behind them.
“Detonation moment. We hope they don’t have a big loss of life,” he wrote on the video, which already has more than 29,000 views.
They initially seemed unsure what caused the blast, but a few seconds later, they jumped off the bench and ran away.
Across the Bosphorus waterway, mayhem unfolded at the Besiktas Vodafone Arena as a suicide bomber caused a second detonation less than a minute after the car bomb went off.
The twin bombings killed at least 29 people — the majority of whom were police officers. An additional 166 people were wounded.
