An Iowa woman allegedly spat on two other customers at a convenience store after they criticized her for not wearing a face mask, authorities said.
Evelyn Chinchilla, 30, was at a Walgreens in Coralville at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 27 when she heard two people commenting about her not wearing a mask, a criminal complaint obtained by KCRG states.
An angry Chinchilla then attacked the customers and all three fell to the ground, the complaint says.
Chinchilla ripped a chunk of hair from one of the victims and bit the other, the complaint alleges.
She has been charged with two counts of assault causing bodily injury.
