An Australian man is lucky to be alive after his cellphone blocked an arrow.

The 43-year-old man was confronted by an attacker with a bow and arrow outside his house in the small town on Nimbin in New South Wales on Wednesday.

According to authorities, the victim raised his phone to photograph the confrontation when the bandit fired his weapon.

Miraculously, the arrow pierced the man’s iPhone, going through the device and coming out the other side, but only knocked his face, leaving him with a small cut but otherwise unharmed.

The armed man, 39, was arrested at the scene and was charged with assault and property damage offenses. Cops said the pair know each other.
