Iran has a new, cutting edge aircraft in its deadly arsenal – a suicide drone packed with explosives, according to a recent report.
The unmanned plane can carry out attacks by land or by sea, but it can only hold certain types of bombs — not missiles, the Al Wasat News reported.
It can also be used for spy missions to get a clear eye view of potential targets from high in the sky, the agency said.
The drone, nicknamed “Thunderbolt,” is also sophisticated enough to be able to hit a ground target under the cover of night. It can fly at speeds of up to 155 miles per hour and at altitudes close to 3,000 feet.
