Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, still hates the United States.

“Even after this deal, our policy toward the arrogant US will not change,” he declared at a Tehran mosque, his speech punctuated by chants of “Death to America!” and “Death to Israel!”

The speech, given to mark Eid al-Fitr, the end of the holy month of Ramadan, was his first public comment on the landmark nuclear disarmament deal made last week with the United States and other world powers.
