Dozens of cowardly ISIS fighters “disguised” themselves as women — dressing in makeup and drag — in a failed attempt to elude Iraqi forces, photos reveal.
Images posted on Instagram show the captured men — some still bearded — wearing padded bras, pink pants, dresses and other women’s attire amid airstrikes in northern Iraq, Britain’s Mirror newspaper reports.
One photo shows a sheepish-looking man wearing a bright flower-print dress under a flowing shawl.
Another fighter, who still had his mustache, is seen in a black brassiere under a flower-print shirt.
In another image, a man can be seen wearing eye shadow and red lipstick.
Iraqi forces posted the photos as they continue to push back against ISIS’s growing influence in the region, including the terrorists’ recent seizure of the strategic city of Tikrit.
The Instagram account also features grisly photos of slain ISIS members and frontline Iraqi fighters.
More than 20,000 Iraqi soldiers continue to advance on the ISIS-held land despite an onslaught of roadside bombs and guerrilla warfare.
