The Israeli army said Wednesday that Iran fired 20 rockets at its military bases — but the projectiles were intercepted by a defense system known as Iron Dome.
The missiles were fired by Iranian forces in southern Syria and Israeli Defense Forces responded by targeting a Syrian regime post with artillery fire, according to The Times of Israel.
There were no reports of Israeli injuries.
The IDF said the missile attack was perpetrated by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Forces.
A post on Twitter showed what appeared to be rockets fired from Syria toward the Golan Heights.
