Gaza is experiencing a “near-total internet blackout,” according to two telecommunications operators in the region.

“The incident “[mirrors] previous recorded outages, and will be experienced as a total loss of communications by most residents,” London-based firm Netblocks — one of the last two remaining major telecommunications operators in Gaza — said Monday.

The other, PalTel, announced shortly after that all telecom services in the Gaza Strip have been cut off, according to CNN

Disturbing footage shows moment Hamas gunmen kidnapped female Israeli lawyer Amit Soussana during Oct. 7 attack

By Ronny Reyes

Chilling footage shows the moment a 40-year-old female Israeli lawyer was kidnapped by Hamas gunmen during the Oct. 7 terrorist attack.

Israeli TV’s Channel 12 on Monday aired the snippet of Amit Soussana’s abduction, when she was flanked by several men marching her out of her home in Kibbutz Kfar Azza.

The video shows Soussana struggling to escape the group, but one of the terrorists props her over his shoulder to try and get her to be still.

But Soussana still defiantly flails around and kicks another Hamas member trying to grab her legs.

The commotion eventually knocks down the man lifting her, causing the rest of the group to stop their advancement and encircle her.

Gaza Strip 'in the midst of a near-total internet blackout': reports

By Kaydi Pelletier

Gaza is experiencing a "near-total internet blackout," according to two telecommunications operators in the region.

"The incident impacts the telecoms backbone via Israel, mirroring previous recorded outages, and will be experienced as a total loss of communications by most residents," said Netblocks, a London-based internet monitoring firm.

Another telecommunications operator in Gaza — the last remaining one there, according to CNN — also announced Monday that all of its telecom services in the Gaza Strip have been completely cut off.

Israel previously cut electricity to the territory when war broke out following the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack on the Jewish nation, CNN reported.

Ivy League slashes price of ‘donor door’ from $20M to $2M after antisemitism storm

By Rikki Schlott

Elite colleges are quietly slashing the level of donations that can secure admission as mega-donors close their checkbooks to the Ivy League over antisemitism on campus.

Their long-term practice of giving special consideration to big donors’ children and grandchildren has been badly hit by a growing backlash against college leaders’ failure to keep Jewish students safe.

Now, according to one college counselor, a $2 million check might be the new $20 million.

“If a billionaire has committed $50 million or $100 million a year and now they’re backing out, colleges need to figure out how to fill that gap,” Command Education founder Christopher Rim told The Post.

“The only way to do that is by recruiting lower-amount donors.”

Israel expands war to all of Gaza, enlists largest infantry brigade for growing ground offensive

By Ronny Reyes

Israel has deployed its troops into the southern Gaza Strip, saying the war will now cover the entire Palestinian enclave and include for the first time Israel's largest infantry brigade for the growing ground offensive.

After destroying several of Hamas’ headquarters stations across northern Gaza, Israeli troops and tanks were spotted Monday in the enclave’s southern half, to which hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been evacuated.

Humanitarian groups said they have run out of advice for the refugees fleeing the violence — which started when the Palestinian terror group launched a surprise attack on Israel on Oct. 7, killing more than 1,200 people, mainly civilians, and taking dozens hostage.

“We have nothing to tell them,” Thomas White, director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, said of the refugees, noting that some of Israel’s retaliatory strikes are occurring in Khan Younis and Rafah, to which nearly 1 million people have run.

Astonishing footage shows demolition of Hamas' lavish Justice Palace courthouse

Newly released footage captures the Israel Defense Forces’ astonishing demolition of the Justice Palace, Hamas’ lavish massive main courthouse, in Gaza, Israeli outlets said Monday.

The destruction of the huge complex occurred Sunday, according to the Yeshiva World outlet.

“We dedicated the explosion to the memory of all those murdered and the victims who fell on Oct. 7 – we won’t forgive, and we won’t forget,'' an IDF commander said of the demolition, according to the outlet.

Chance at another hostage release slim to none as Israeli offensive grows

By Melissa Koenig

The chance that more Israeli hostages will be freed by Hamas is dwindling while Israel expands its ground offensive throughout Gaza and the US struggles to restart talks, well-placed sources say.

“Today not much happened in the talks between the parties,” a foreign source familiar with hostage negotiations told Haaretz on Sunday. “The matter is stuck.

“Although the door hasn’t been shut permanently, the atmosphere is pessimistic.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later made it clear that Israel had pulled out of hostage negotiations for now.

A cease-fire between Israel and the Palestinian terror group — which allowed for the release of dozens of the 240 hostages taken by Hamas during its sneak assault on Israel on Oct. 7 — ended Friday, when the Israeli government accused the terrorists of violating the agreement by launching rockets at the Jewish nation.

The Islamic Resistance group in Iraq, which represents several groups tied to Tehran, confirmed the deaths -- and vowed to retaliate against the US.

Hostage mom was separated from toddler for 10 days: father

By Olivia Land

Sharon Konio – who was released by Hamas along with her twin daughters, Yuly and Emma – spent the first days in captivity without knowing where Yuly was, her father, Ramos Aloni told Haaretz.

Sharon, her husband David, and the three-year-old girls were kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz on Oct. 7, Aloni explained.

The family of four was together until “[the attackers] grabbed Yuly from her hands,” he continued.

Sharon did not see Yuly for 10 days – and was not even sure if she was alive.

At the end of the first 10 days, Sharon, DAvid and Emma were moved to a different hiding place, Aloni said.

"Sharon says that after a few hours, she hears the crying of a baby, and she tells her husband David, 'This is Yuly's cry,'" he recounted.

About 30 minutes later, a Gazan woman opened the door to their hiding place and brought Yuly to them.

"Since then, they have been together, but for ten days, [Sharon] did not know what was happening with the baby,” Aloni emphasized.

IDF to update Gaza Strip war plans in light of US demands for reduced civilian deaths

By Olivia Land

The Israel Defense Forces “updated” and “made amendments” to its expanded operations in the southern Gaza Strip following US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s visit last week, a diplomatic official told Channel 12 news.

During his visit Thursday, Blinken said that Israel must reduce civilian deaths in Gaza by designating multiple safe zones and avoiding targeting “life-critical infrastructure” such as hospitals, power stations and water treatment plants, the Times of Israel explained.

“We did not ignore the American points, and this will become clear in the coming few days,” the official told the TV outlet.

Israel also decided to allow humanitarian aid to continue entering Gaza at the same levels as during the weeklong cease-fire with Hamas, the report noted.

In his recent phone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Biden supposedly demanded “a kind of condition: In order to receive continued American support for the achievement of the war goals, Israel must prove that all its plans take the civilian population into consideration, that it reduces to a minimum the evacuation of civilians from their homes, and that it works to provide more and more safe areas for non-combatants,” the diplomatic official added.
