Biden visit won’t delay Gaza ground operation, IDF says
By Richard PollinaThe Israeli military said it will not alter any plans they may have to invade Gaza due to President Joe Biden visiting the nation during wartime, an IDF spokesperson told CNN on Tuesday.
“I think the president also said that ‘Hamas needs to be destroyed,’ and that is exactly our military aim,” said Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus.
Biden will be the first head of state to visit Israel since the conflict began on Oct. 7.
The president has continually condemned the actions of Hamas terrorists since they invaded and slaughtered Israeli communities after infiltrating the country through the Gaza border.
