Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was released from the hospital Tuesday night, after being rushed there earlier in the day.

“I am on my way home. Sure some rest and hot soup will put things right,” he tweeted after his release.

He was admitted to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem because of a “high fever” and coughing.

Tests showed the 68-year-old has a “minor viral infection” in his upper respiratory tract, according to his office’s official Twitter account.

That confirmed his doctor Tzvi Berkowitz’s suggestion earlier in the day that the symptoms were caused by a lingering throat infection Netanyahu has been battling over the last two weeks.
