LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson was such an opiate junkie in 1993 that his buttocks were scarred and abscessed from needle marks, according to video testimony yesterday from his one-time physician.

Dr. Stuart Finkelstein, tour doctor for Jackson’s “Dangerous” concerts, recalled in a February deposition for the Jackson family’s suit against promoters AEG Live how he tried to give the King of Pop a shot of Demerol before a Bangkok concert.

“But his backside was so scarred and abscessed, I was afraid of erratic absorption,” Finkelstein said. “I figured it was not safe.

“He obviously had had multiple injections in his buttocks prior to arriving in Bangkok.”
