A JetBlue flight skidded off the runway at Boston Logan International Airport Thursday morning, leaving all flights at the international travel hub grounded for hours.

JetBlue Flight 312, an Airbus A220-300, was landing on runway 33-L just before noon after leaving from Chicago when it went off the runway, according to 7 News.

Nobody was hurt in the accident, and all passengers were taken to a nearby terminal.

“All crew and customers are safe,” Transport Workers Union of America Local 579 president Tyesha Best told CNN.

“We remain in contact with the company to provide all needed support for those affected.”

A total ground stop on all flights was in place at the airport until 2 p.m. Thursday.

The accident comes during a day of heightened air travel fears after a passenger plane crashed in India early Thursday, killing more than 200 people.

That flight was a London-bound Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which plummeted into a residential neighborhood seconds after taking off in Ahmedabad.

Terrifying footage of the wreck showed the plane flying low then dropping from view behind a stand of buildings when a huge ball of fire billowed into the sky.

Of the 242 people who were onboard, all but one are believed to have died.

The miraculous survivor was found wandering around the charred carnage in a daze.

Numerous others are expected to have died on the ground, as the plane fell into a densely populated area.

Passengers on the plane included 169 Indians, 53 Britons, seven people from Portugal, and one Canadian.

It has also been a fraught year for air travel, particularly in the US.

The year opened with a mid-air crash in January between an American Airlines passenger jet and a Blackhawk military helicopter outside of Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, leaving 67 dead.

Then a medical transport smashed into a Philadelphia street weeks later, killing all four people on board and two more on the street when it exploded.

February saw a Delta passenger jet land upside down and burst into flames on a Canadian tarmac, and by spring Newark International Airport had become mired in delays over a serious air traffic controller shortage and equipment failures.
